数字HDTV地面广播传输方式VSB和COFDM的性能比较

摘　　要：从理论上对数字高清晰度电视 ( H DTV )的两种传输方式—— VSB和 COF DM数字传输系统的性能进行了比较 ,给出了系统模拟结果 ,理论分析和模拟结果都证明这两种传输系统在性能上是等价的 .并从硬件实现的角度对这两种系统进行了分析和模拟 ,其结果说明 COF DM系统对器件的线性度有着更高的要求 ,这将导致 COF DM接收机的芯片面积大于 VThe vestigial side band (VSB) and coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (COFDM) digital transmission systems are accepted in digital HDTV transmission system. This paper gives a theoretical view to the performance of these two systems and the results of the systems simulation. The theory and simulation prove that these two transmission systems are equivalent. From the point of view of hardware implementation, these two transmission system are discussed. The simulations prove that linearity of the devices in COFDM system should be better than that in VSB system, and it will lead to a bigger area chip in the COFDM receiver.
