摘　　要：回顾《金属制品》期刊创刊40年的发展历程,总结期刊在提高内在质量和影响力方面的经验,阐述期刊在引领行业技术进步和产品更新、丰富生产和技术人员的金属制品知识和技能、展示企业产品和实力方面所发挥的作用,探讨期刊在推进产业升级、产学研结合、产业联系、行业国际化及保持期刊自身健康发展方面应开展的工作。To review the forty years development history of the Metal Products journal start publication. The experience of journal in the aspect of improving inner quality and influence was summarized. The role of journal played in leading the in- dustry and technology process and products update, enriching the metal products knowledge and skill of production and technical staff, showing enterprise products and strength was expounded. That the work should be carried out of journal in the future in the aspect of promoting industrial upgrading, combining with production, learning and research, industrial linkage, industry internationalization and maintaining journal healthy development was discussed.
