Damaging Regularity of Red Turpentine Bark Beetle(Scolytidae: Dendroctonus valens Le Conte) In Northwest China

摘  要:在陕西黄龙和子午岭林区采用连续取样调查,研究了红脂大小蠹的发生危害规律。结果显示红脂大小蠹主要危害胸径20cm以上的油松;油松纯林危害大于油松与白桦、山杨、辽东栎以及灌木组成的混交林;下坡位、沟谷底部危害程度大于中、上坡位,半阳坡大于阴坡,阳坡被害最轻;林缘、路边危害大于林内。午岭林区海拔1 500m附近的油松林受害最重,黄龙山1 100~1 300m的油松林危害较重。Damaging regularities of the red turpentine bark beetle (Scolytidae.. Dendroctonus valens Le Con- te) occurring in northwest China were studied. It was observed that the beetle only fed and damaged Chi- nese pine (Pinus tabulaeforrnis). The damages were more serious in pure Chinese pine forests than in mixed forests, including P. tabulaeformis with Betula platyphylla , Populus davidiana , Quercus liao- tungensis and shrubs. The damages in the forests located in low slope positions and valleys were more seri- ous than those in the middle and up slopes, more serious in half-sunny slopes than in shade slopes. The damage degree in sunny slope was the least serious, and more serious in the forest edge and road side. The beetle was the most serious at the altitude above 1 500 m in Malan Mountains, and 1 100 to 1 300 m in Huanglong Mountain.
