“沉默的螺旋”理论对大学生思想政治教育的适用性及启示

摘　　要："沉默的螺旋"是传播学受众研究的经典理论。作为一种传播活动,大学生思想政治教育中存在着"沉默的螺旋"产生的前提条件和心理机制,因而这一理论在该领域具有适用性。由于大学生思想政治教育的特殊性,对于"沉默的螺旋"理论应该批判地借鉴:一方面要充分利用其在舆论引导、行为规范等方面的积极作用;另一方面要防止不健康的螺旋、不平等的关系带来的负面影响。"沉默的螺旋"理论提示思想政治教育者高度重视学生中的"沉默"现象,不断提升教育的针对性和实效性。＂The spiral of silence ＂theory is the classical theory of communication audience research. As a kind of communication activity, the conditions and psychological mechanism of the ＂spiral of silence＂ exist in undergraduate ideological and politicaI education, so the theory is applicable to it. Due to the particularity of ideological and political education communication, the ＂spiral of silence＂ theory should be utilized critically. On the one hand, we should make full use of its positive roles of public opinion guidance and behavior; on the other hand, we should also prevent unhealthy spiral, unequal relations with negative influence. The theory suggests educators should pay great attention to the ＂Silence＂ phenomenon of students to improve educational pertinence and effectiveness constantly.
