摘　　要：二次雷达系统广泛应用于空中交通管制。传统的A/C模式二次雷达抗干扰性能差,且应答编码信息有限,不能满足新的航空管制需要,升级的S模式能有效解决上述问题。本文简要介绍了A/C模式的特点,重点分析了S模式的概念、信号格式和特征,并展望了S模式的发展方向。Secondary Surveillance Radar has applied to the Air-Traffic-Control （ATC）. Because of weak capability of anti-jamming and restricted coding information, Conventional A/C mode can＇t meet the new requirement of ATC, whereas S mode can resolve the problems above-mentioned. The paper is introduce the feature of A/C mode, then the conception, signal mode and feature of S mode are analyzed. Also, some research directions of S mode are pointed out in this paper.
