摘 要:如果从性别、家国和战争的角度切入,结合社会与时代特征、作者风格、文类特点来梳理木兰故事的现代化过程与视觉化表现,将会有不同于往昔的发现。木兰在晚清时成为了女性国民、民族英雄的典范,但多部影视作品融合了传统与现代的特质;木兰女扮男装的银幕形象普遍女性化,代表了木兰的扮装与从军只是临时僭越了身份;文体上从诗歌、戏剧到电影的发展,木兰故事也从奇趣喜剧发展到悲剧史诗,呈现多样化的特质。Based on the framework of gender,family,nation and warfare,this essay analyses how the legend of Mulan has been modernized and visualized,and how the characteristics have been influenced by the society,the time,the genre and style.Mulan has become a model in late-Qing Dynasty and is considered as a national heroine,but her images in movies of that time tend to be both traditional and modern.The FTM cross-dressing of Mulan represents the temporary crossing of her identity,so her image in screen is very feminine.The genre and style of Mulan texts are various and show the spectrum from being funny and comedy to tragedy and epic.
