摘　　要：主要研究从建国后,即1949—2011年我国足球运动经历的漫长而又起伏曲折艰辛的发展路程,即对我国足球运动发展的起步、初步发展、孤立停顿、文革的徘徊与倒退、恢复发展、体制改革及职业化发展、赌球猖獗和水平下滑这几个阶段做出阐述与分析,从宏观的历史的层面审视中国足球,以期给我国足球运动的发展以有益启示。This article is about the long and difficult development process in soccer in China since the year of 1949, when new China was founded. And the process of development can be concluded as the follow stages： beginning, initial development, to be isolated and paused, degeneracy in the Cultural Revolution, recovery and development, system reform and pro- fessionalization and going down of football level. From the macroscopic historical dimensions, the author affords a survey on Chinese football in order to give a beneficial enlightenment on football development in China.
