摘　　要：近年来宽带互联网的飞速发展推动了远程教育系统的实施和普及,在消除了网络传输带宽这个历史性的瓶颈之后,越来越多的多媒体内容出现在现今的远程教育平台上。文章对基于Adobe的媒体服务产品——FMS(FlashMediaServer)的新一代流媒体技术框架搭建更现代的远程教育系统的技术平台的有关问题进行了探讨。The rapid growing of broad-band intemet has stimulated the implementation and popularization of distance education. Since the bottleneck of data transfer speed was eliminated, more and more multimedia contents have appeared on the current distance education platforms. Video, audio, images and dynamic presentations make education more lively and effective. Flash Media Server （FMS）, which is a media service product and the stream media technology of new generation based on Adobe, is explored. The technology platform to build a modem distance education system is also discussed.
