摘　　要：本文介绍了保偏光纤的基本原理与制造方法,以及我国保偏光纤的技术进展状态,并阐述了保偏光纤的市场与应用领域,最后提出了保偏光纤前沿新技术方向。In this letter, the ftmdanlental principle and ,the fabrication methods and the technological progress of polarization maitaining optical fibers（PMFs） of the fibers are generalized. Then the market and applied fields of the PMFs are fommlated.Finally, the novelty technological directions for PMFs are presented.
