摘　　要：林则徐作为一个民族英雄的经典,单一形象被广为宣传,但是其思想的其他方面往往被忽视,特别是对外贸易思想。林则徐的奏章、私函、日记等文字记录,显现林则徐很早就认识到了正当对外贸易与经济数据统计的重要性,其思想和觉悟的先进性在一定程度上超越其所处时代。但他也不可避免地受到时代的局限,造成他的认识无法公开表达,更无法成为推动当时中国现代化改革的动力。Lin Zexu has long been propaganda. However, many other inimitable on foreign trade. Lin Zexu＇s paperwork, diaries, has shown that he had long since regarded as a patriotic national hero in the terms of perspectives of his ideas have been ignored, especially including memorials to the throne, files, letters and realized the importance of legitimate foreign trade and economic statistics. His thoughts were far ahead of his time. However, he was largely limited by the era, so that he could not express his ideas in public, neither could his ideas be the dynamic to help the country get developed and modernized.
