摘　　要：在"科学—技术—工程—产业"的生态链条中,技术向工程转化是一个关键环节。"技术向工程转化"作为工程哲学的一个核心概念是必要的。它可定义为:将发明出来的技术变成可供消费者使用的产品或服务的过程。它着眼于技术的存在在前,往往意味着突破性创新以及规模化,具有明显而紧密的社会相关性。它不同于技术创新、科技成果转化等经济学概念,它跟更宽广的世界相联系。Translating technology into engineering is a key link in the ecological chain of ＂science -technology - engineer- ing - industry＂. ＂Translating technology into engineering＂ should be become a key concept of philosophy of engineering. It can be defined as a process of translating invented technology into product or service for consumers. It views from the augle of technology first. It often means breakthrough innovation and large - scale, Moreover, it correlates evidently and closely with society. Basically, it is different from technology innovation and sci - tech achievement translation which are econom- ics concepts. It connects with wild world.
