近代美国来华传教士高第丕与早期白话文研究——以《文学书官话》为例

摘　　要：高第丕,美国南浸信传道会传教士。他与中国学者张儒珍合著的《文学书官话》刊定于1869年。《文学书官话》虽然影响巨大,但人们对它的认识不足。《文学书官话》用汉语官话口语写作,并把官话口语作为研究对象,"是一部正式的今话文文法书"(刘大白语)。它的特点是划分词类尽量立足于汉语实际;"名头"、"地步"、"位次"、"靠托言"等术语的提出,与后来的汉语研究有异曲同工之妙。Gao Dipei is a missionary of the Board of Foreign Missions of the Southern Baptist Conventions in the United States. He wrote Mandarin Grammar in collaboration with Zhang Ruzhen, a Chinese scholar, and pub- lished it in 1869. Unfortunately, strong as its influence is, people lack recognition of this book. Mandarin Gram- mar which was written in spoken Mandarin and took spoken Mandarin as its object of study, is a formal book on Mandarin grammar（ Liu Dabai）. It classified parts of speech with a consideration of the real status of Chinese. Many terms like ＂ 名头＂, ＂地步＂, ＂位次＂, and＂靠托言＂, etc, took the same research perspective as the later Chinese studies.
