摘　　要：对世界卫生组织《饮用水水质准则》第四版进行了介绍,着重与《生活饮用水卫生标准》(GB 5749—2006)进行比较。并就两个标准中一些水质指标的情况及限值大小分四类进行介绍和评述。讨论了新版准则对我国相关水质标准修订的借鉴意义。In this paper, the Guidelines for drinking water quality （Fourth edition） issued by World Health Organization was introduced, and the comparison between it and the Standards for drinking water quality （GB 5749-2006, China） was carried out. Water quality indexes （chemicals） could be classified into four categories according to their existence and guideline values difference in the two standards. Reference significance of the new Guidelines to the amendment of water quality standards in China was discussed.
