摘　　要：西北地区岩画数量丰富,分布广泛,很多岩画图像中都表现出原始的体育运动形态,具有很强的代表性。在坚持图像分析与研读相关文献相结合的基础上,借助于西北地区史前岩画中具有体育特征的图像,把岩画学、历史学、考古学、图像学与体育学研究相结合,从遗存、人、时、空这四维关系观察和解释体育的起源、发展演变特征,从图像的视角重新观照西北地区体育历史,尤其是民族体育历史的起源发展。A great number of rock-painting extensively exist in the north-west district of China, among which some painting express the original sports images with strong repress ntativeness. The thesis aims to survey and explain the features of sports origin and evolution, resurvey the sports history of the north-west district, especially the origin and development of national sports history, from the four-dimensional relation between remains, human being, time and space by combining the researches on rock-painting, history, archaeology, iconology and sports, in light of the images with sports features in the prehistoric rock-painting of the north-west district and on the basis of image analysis and relative literature research.
