摘　　要：采用问卷和实地考察法,对无锡市实施农民体育健身工程现状进行分析。结果显示,无锡市43个乡镇建成"乡镇体育健身中心",714个行政村建成"万村体育健身工程";基本建立起"行政村"、"乡镇"、"县级市"三级配套设施较完善的农民健身工程体系,但也存在着诸如竞赛管理体系尚不完善、体育比赛项目设置单一、健身意识薄弱等诸多问题。在此基础上,我们提出了无锡市农民体育事业发展战略建议。The current situation of implementation of peasant body - building project in Wuxi City is investigated and analyzed by means of questionnaire and field survey. The result shows that the village fitness centers have been built in 43 towns and the project of ten thousand body- building centers have been finished in 714 administrative villages. The peasant body-building project system has been achieved basically, in which there are well-appointed supporting facilities in three levels of villages, towns and county - level cities. Although, it also exists some problems, e.g. , the management system of competition is not perfect, sports contest events are not plentiful, body-building consciousness is weak. On this basis, the authors proposed some suggestions about the development strategy on peasant sports career in Wuxi city in the future.
