摘　　要：简述了农业高校教学科研基地及其延伸功能的概念及内涵。以华南农业大学教学科研基地为例对农业高校教学科研基地的功能延伸进行讨论,认为影响基地延伸功能定位的因素有:发展宗旨、指导思想、科研实力及人才与物质资源;基地延伸功能主要有:生产经营、成果示范、素质培训、农业推广、科普宣传、旅游观光、新农村建设等功能。The concept and connotation of extended functions and the teaching and scientific research bases in agricultural universities were introduced. This article took the teaching and scientific research bases in South China Agricultural University as an example and discussed about the extended functions of teaching and scientific research bases in agricultural universities. In my opinion, the purpose of development, guiding ideology, scientific researching ability and human and material resources are the main factors influence the orientation of extended functions. The extended functions include production, administration, achievement exhibition, qualification training, agricultural extension, scientific popularization, tourism and new rural construction.
