摘　　要：经典的对外直接投资理论和发展中国家对外直接投资实践表明,一个国家或地区的经济发展水平与对外直接投资关系极为密切。以Dunning的对外直接投资发展周期理论为基础,依据2003-2011年广东省经济发展水平和对外投资相关数据,对广东省对外直接投资于经济发展水平之间的关系进行实证检验,以此定位广东省对外直接投资所处阶段。The classical theory of foreign direct investment in developing countries and foreign direct investment practice shows that the economic performance and foreign direct investment of a country or region are closely related. Based on the investment development period theory created by Dunning, this article gives an empirical test on the outward direct investment of Guangdong with the figures of nine years, in order to find out the development phase of outward direct investment of Guangdong province and try to explain the cause. At last, some practical and feasible suggestions will be provided.
