摘　　要：大型的企业或部门每天都需要处理大量的数据业务,数据库系统的设计变得异常复杂,而数据库的性能直接影响到各项业务的顺利进行。然而数据库优化涉及计算机硬件调优、应用程序调优、数据库索引优化、SQL语句优化和事务处理调优法等多个方面,对数据库系统进行优化。通过对数据库的索引技术进行研究,论述如何设置有效的数据库索引达到数据库优化,以期给数据库设计者和系统开发者提供参考。Large volumes of data are needed to handle every day in major enterprises or departments, this caused to database system design change is extremely complex, and database performance of a direct impact on the business carried out smoothly. However, the database optimization is relat- ed to the computer hardware tuning, application tuning, database optimization, database index optimization and multiple SQL statement optimization and transaction tuning method. Studies the database indexing technologies, and discusses how to set the effective index of the database to database optimization, in order to provide a reference for database designers and system de- velopers.
