摘　　要：本文探讨了当代城市建设中如何更好地融汇、借鉴和汲取传统文化,如何在城市空间中使民间艺术元素得以充分展现,深入剖析了庆阳市在城市建设中存在的种种弊端,论述了庆阳市城市规划和建设中如何更好地体现地域文化气质和民俗艺术元素,使庆阳成为真正意义上的"西部艺术名城"。The article discusses how to better integrate with, draw lessons from and absorb the essence from traditional culture in modern urban construction, and how to fully reflect the elements of folk art in city space. Meantime, it analyzes in-depth the various drawbacks in the construction of Qingyang City and discusses how to better reflect the featues of local culture and the elements of folk art in the urban plan- ning and construction so as to make Qingyang an art city in Western China in a true sense.
