The solution-type secondary pore is one of the most important types of pores in Eogene reservoirs in Jiyang Depression. Especially, it is significant that there are both higher geotemperature and abnormal overpressure in this Depression. The factors that dominate producing and preserving secondary pores in deep reservoirs (>4000m) are disscussed by means of analysing the basic characteristics of the secondary pores, experimenting hydrous pyrolysis with source rocks, suming up the characteristics of both temperature and pressure. The conclusion is summarized as follows: (1) The organic acids, which are produced by organic matter in source rock in maturing process, are advantageous to making secondary pores; (2) The abundant organic matter in source rock is beneficial basis to forming secondary pores; (3) The higher geotemperature is conducive to forming secondary pores; (4) The abnormal overpressure is helpful to preserving secondary pores in deep reservoir; (5) The organic disposition between higher geotemperature and abnormal overpressure zone play an important effect on developing secondary pores. On the above basis of study, the advantageoas areas, where the secondary pore zones would be found out, are forecasted preliminarily. It is suggested that the more beneficial region be Liangjialou-Niuzhuang-Liuhu, Lijin-Minfeng and Fanjiabei-Chunhua areas in Donying Depression as well as Bonan and Gubei areas in Zhanhua Depression.
