摘　　要：要更好地了解青年志愿服务,首先应对当代青年的时代特征有科学的认识和深切的价值理解。当代青年的时代特征主要表现为:思想活跃、开放,社会参与意识浓厚,行为方式务实。青年志愿服务作为当今青年社会实践活动和成才途径的一种重要形式,体现了时代对青年人才培养的客观要求。To study youth voluntary service in a better way, we should have scientific cognition and deep understandings on its epoch features and values. Contemporary youth＇s epoch features include the following aspects such as active and open thoughts, strong consciousness of social participation, practical actions. Youth voluntary service, as an important form for contemporary youth to conduct social practice and develop healthily, embodies the objective requirements of epoch for the cultivation of youth talents.
