摘　　要：文章以原上海租界工部局宰牲场为研究对象,通过大量史料,特别针对三份主要建筑档案的挖掘,对其选址、设计过程、建造方法等一系列问题展开了探讨。重点涉及功能与空间解析、建造与结构、材料和工艺、建筑师考证四个方面,以求梳理历史脉络,勾勒出上海近代优秀钢筋混凝土工业建筑的一个缩影。The study of the original Shanghai Municipal Council Abattoir built in the early 1930s is based on a large number of documents, especially three important architectural archives which includes informations of location, design process and construction method of the Abattoir. This research is mainly concerned with four fields, namely function and space, construction and structure, materials and technology, and the identification of the architect. The Significance of this paper is to offer an exact historic context from which we can infer the outline of an outstanding modern reinforced concrete industrial building in Shanghai.
