摘　　要：在近代以前的欧洲社会里,婚姻作为维护家族利益的工具,无论是名誉的维持还是财产的保障都必须是"适宜的"。这种适宜表现之一就是门当户对。而在奥斯丁笔下"门第"不仅涉及出身,更多的还涉及人自身的品质,如才智等。她突破了传统的贵族社会的单纯门第观念,赋予了更人性、更平等的才智相当理念。Before the Modern Europe, Marriage as the tools of defending interests of the family must be appropriate whether Property security or the reputation guarantee. A kind of expression is suitable for performance e-qual. But Austin＇ s family is not only related to background but also to people their own quality such as intelligence etc. She broke through the traditional simple family concept in aristocratic society and gave more human nature, more equal intelligence quite concept.
