摘　　要：娄东私家园林是苏州古典园林的重要组成部分,在历史上曾经鼎盛一时,取得了很高的艺术成就,但长期以来一直被学术界所忽视。综合而言,娄东私家园林主要具有建筑类型多样化,建筑数量多、密度大,建筑布局呈现宅园同构的"家园化"等基本特征。Private gardens in Loudong, as an important part of Suzhou classical gardens, usea to be famous in history with very high artistic achievement. However, they haSve long been ignored by the academic cir-cle. In brief, these gardens are characterized by the following features： the multiplicity of types, the large number of buildings, great density and family garden styles in architectural arrangement.
