近现代域外游记的勃兴与繁荣

摘　　要：以近现代文学史上出现的域外游记写作热潮为考察对象,分析了近现代域外游记勃兴与繁荣原因之所在。提出了晚清域外游记的勃兴主要是由于官方的推动和政治需要所致,民国之后域外游记的大量出现则与留学热的涌动和现代交通业、旅游业的迅猛发展密不可分的观点。同时指出与游记写作的繁荣形成鲜明对照的是游记研究的严重滞后,蕴含着丰富文学、文化信息的域外游记,拥有很大的学术空间,值得深入挖掘与言说。This paper examines overseas travel note boom and its raison d’être in modern Chinese literature.Rise of overseas travel notes in the late Qing dynasty gained momentum mainly from the government and politics.The abundance of overseas travel notes following the birth of the Republic of China was closely associated with studying abroad fever,modern transportation and tourism.Little research into travel notes,however,constituted a sharp contrast with the popularity of travel notes at that time.Laden with literary and cultural information,overseas travel notes provide room for academic examination.
