摘　　要：利用查新机构的信息资源优势和专业技术手段,为中小企业提供个性化、多元化的信息服务,是当前查新工作发展的一个重要方向。文章结合西部中小企业的特点和目前信息服务存在的问题,就如何拓展科技查新工作,更好地服务于西部中小企业提出一些建议。Utilizing the information resources superiority ＆professional technical measures of sci-tech novelty search orga- nizations, which can provide information services for the small ＆ medium-sized enterprises with personalization, multiplica- tion, is an important trend. This paper combines the characteristics of the small ＆ medium enterprises in west China and some current problems in information services. In addition, some countermeasures and suggestions in the better service in expanding service of sci-tech novelty search for small ＆ medium-sized enterprises in west China were proposed in this paper.
