摘　　要：随着图书馆各项业务的迅猛发展,图书馆统计工作应用越来越广泛,已成为图书馆管理工作的重要组成部分。图书馆统计工作具有数量性、综合性、多样性和连续性的特点。图书馆统计工作中还存在认识不足、缺乏统一标准及自动化系统设计有缺陷等问题。图书馆可以从注重统计工作制度化和标准化,建立统计档案以及加强统计工作的自动化、信息化、网络化建设等方面入手,加强图书馆的统计工作,使其更好地为图书馆科学管理服务。Along with the rapid development of various professional work in libraries, the application of statistical work of libraries has become increasingly prevalent and plays an important role in the library management work. The statistical work of libraries has characteristics such as quantity, synthesis, multiformity and continuity.The statistical work of libraries still has some problems such as the lack of acquaintance and unified standard, the deficiency in automation system design, and so on. Libraries could start from four aspects： the systematization and standardization of the statistical work, the establishment of statistical files, strengthening the automation, informationize and networking construction of the statistical work, at the same time strengthen the statistical work of libraries, and make it provide better services for scientific management in libraries.
