摘　　要：公路卧铺客车如今已经渐行渐远,与20世纪90年代后期的全盛时期相比更让人感慨时过境迁。2011年7月22日,京珠高速卧铺客车火灾导致40余人死亡的恶性事件,最终招致工信部和公安部痛下决心于2011年12月31日联合发布了632号文件。文件规定自2012年3月1日起暂停卧铺客车销售,In this article,the author provided a brief history of sleeper-coach,and current development condition,and analyzed a few key reasons why they have to be withdrawn from the market.The author believed that the key reason for sleeper-coach's withdraw from market is because of the inevitable developing trend of bus industry instead of causes of one or two accidences occasionally.
