摘　　要：新时期我国经济社会发展为社区学院的兴起提供了必要条件,这主要表现在:区域经济发展为社区学院奠定了坚实的经济基础;城市社区的兴起为社区学院的形成和发展提供了社会基础;多样化的教育需求是社区学院发展的强大动力;高等教育管理体制改革为社区学院的发展提供了体制基础。The economic and social development provides necessary conditions for the development of community college, which mainly embody in the following aspects： regional economic development lays solid economic foundation for community college; the rising of city communities provides social foundation for the formation and development of community col- leges; diversified education demand is the great driving force for the development of community college; the reform of man- agement mechanism of higher education provides mechanism foundation for the development of community college.
