摘　　要：李伯元由参加科举考试到拒绝接受经济特科的荐试,基本上按照自己的意愿生活。由普通士人转型为近代知识分子,虽然谈不上义无反顾,也绝非犹豫不决,处于先行者地位。Li Boyuan participated in imperial competitive examination and later refused to accept the economy examination.He published a tabloid and later wrote novels in the vernacular Chinese.Li Boyuan lived his whole life in the way he expected.Li Boyuan experienced three periolds and transformated himself from an ordinary Chinese scholar to a modern intellectual.Though his transformation proceed without hesitation,his transformation is irresolution.He took the lead for an ordinary scholar to be an intellectual.
