摘　　要：合成了新显色剂咪唑偶氮 -2 -萘酚 -4 -磺酸 (IAN-4 S) 。A new reagent 2(2imidazolylazo) naphthol4sulfonic acid(IAN4S)has been synthesized.Its IR spectrum and dissociation constants were studied.The reaction between IAN4S and metal ions(Cu 2+ ,Co 2+ ,Ni 2+ ,Zn 2+ ,Cd 2+ ,Fe 3+ and Mn 2+ ) is rapid at room temperature.Beers law is obeyed over the ranges of 0～2.0 mg/L for Cu 2+ ,Ni 2+ ,Fe 3+ ,0～2.5mg/L for Co 2+ ,Zn 2+ ,Mn 2+ and 0～3.0 mg/L for Cd 2+ at selected conditions.The compositions of these complexes were determined.
