摘　　要：本文在分析我国西部经济欠发达地区经济发展现状的基础上,揭示了制约其经济持续、健康发展的主要原因和影响因素,得出调整经济结构、转变经济发展方式是西部经济欠发达地区落实科学发展观、从根本上缓解资源约束、减轻环境压力、实现全面建设小康社会目标和经济可持续发展的必然选择,最后提出金融危机背景下我国西部经济欠发达地区调整经济结构、转变经济发展方式的对策建议。This paper analyses the present situation of the economic development in the western undeveloped area.Based on the analyses,it reveals the main reasons and the influencing factors of the constraints in the continuous and healthy development of our economy and the lasting deteriorating of the ecological environment.A conclusion was drawn that it is not just a choice but a must to adjust the economic structure and transform the economic developmental pattern in order to the implementation of the scientific concept of development,to alleviate the constraints of natural resources and the pressure in environment,to build a well-off society,and to develop the economy in an all-round way.Finally,a proposal was put forward on adjusting the economic structure and transforming the economic developmental pattern in the western undeveloped area in the background of global economic crisis.
