OBJECTIVE To explore the relationship between systolic pressure and memory disorders, so as to provide basis for effective interventions. METHODS People from Workers' Hospital of Tangshan were randomly selected and were assessed with RBMT Ⅱ. RESULTS Among the investigated people, the incidence of dysmnesia were 96.15%, respectively. The occur- rence of memory disorders was significantly correlated with the level of systohc pressure. There were statistically significant dif- ferences in story recollection (immediate), story recollection (delayed), letter memory (delayed), orientation, date and the total standard score (P 〈 0.05 or P 〈 0.01 ). CONCLUSION The occurrence of memory disorders in hypertensive is generally high, it's affected by systolic pressure. For that, more attention should be paid to control the level of systolic pressure.
