摘  要:A catalytic addition of amine N H bonds to carbodiimides using aluminum chloride as a Lewis acid catalyst is developed.The reaction proceeds under mild conditions without solvent to afford a series of substituted guanidines in good to excellent yields using a wide range of amines as substrates.Evidence of the proposed mechanism is provided by in situ infrared spectroscopy.A catalytic addition of amine N-H bonds to carbodiimides using aluminum chloride as a Lewis acid catalyst is developed.
