摘　　要：随着信息技术和计算机网络的发展,网络的应用程序发展很快,基于Socket的局域网通信软件可以为企业原有的局域网提供一种良好、安全、快速的通信机制,针对现有的校园网框架运用Socket套接字、多线程等技术,很好地解决了内部局域网的通讯需求。This system mainly fulfils a server procedure and a client procedure, Server is used to maintain the online users lists as well as transmitting the information from client. Client achieves information communication by connecting with server. During the development of the procedure, technologies like socket and multi-threading are used, at the same time it combines with a variety of basic computer network programming theories knowledge, such as TCP/IP protocol, client/server-side models （Client/Server mode）, design method of network programming and so on. It is a good solution to the internal LAN communications needs.
