摘　　要：以四川省茂县坪头村建设节水灌溉示范工程为例,论述了节水灌溉示范工程建设对于水资源短缺地区经济社会发展的重要性和必要性,分析了工程建设的经济效益和社会效益。Taking the construction of the water-saving irrigation demonstration project of Pingtou Vallege in Maoxian County of Sichuan Province as an example, this paper discusses the importance and necessity of the construction of the water-saving irrigation demonstration project on the economic and social development of water shortage areas, and analyzes the economic benefit and social benefit of the project construction.
