摘　　要：随着现代社会的发展,公共交通作为城市的枢纽,关系到地区经济的发展与人民生活质量的提高.为解决目前城市交通日益恶化的现状,本文在对GPS和GIS技术的分析与研究的基础上,重点阐述了这两种技术在公共交通管制领域中的集成与应用.并分析和设计了基于GPS和GIS的公共交通指挥系统,为解决目前公共交通所面临的问题提供了一种新的方法和手段.With the development of the modern society, the public traffic as a key position is concerned in the devel- opment of regional economic and the improvement of the people. To address the question of the traffic jam, this pa- per build on the research of GIS and GPS, introduces the application of GIS and GPS in the public traffic control system. This paper is aimed at the resolving of the public traffic jam.
