摘 要:当下中国合唱在世界性的后现代文化思潮的冲击下,合唱概念与表演传统正悄然而迅速地发生变化,多元化的合唱形式已成为一种新的发展趋势。Since the 1950's, Western modernist and post-modernist musicians have been challenging the aesthetic principles of ″ harmony″ in traditional music. They exaggerated the meaning of ″discrepancy″, absolutized the ″ discrepancy″ , and replaced ″ harmony″ with ″discrepancy″, or even deconstructed the ″harmony″ and distorted the ″ sublimity″ in choral music by using ″ dissonant″ chords, ″unharmonious″ tempos, atonality, polytonality and pantonality. If ″harmony″ is the word to summarize the aesthetic features of the Western classic choral music before the 20 th century, then the post-20^(th)-century contemporary choral music represents the distinct nature of ″discrepancy″. Therefore, the distinctive nature of choral music lies neither in the number of singers, nor the number of voice parts, nor in the application of polyphony, but rather in the significant discrepancy and the ability to make the sound of discrepancy harmonious in its movement. There are various genres of choral music in the world, each of which has its own raison d'etre. In this sense, the aesthetic criteria of choral music should be broad, open and extremely inclusive. A perfect standard should not be exclusive. In terms of singing in unison, as long as the standard of singing in uniformity is reached, it should be regarded as harmony, or one of its patterns. To judge the level of chorus, one should pay attention to the degree of uniformity and harmony that numerous singers and voice parts can achieve inthe course of singing. In fact, voice parts, complex harmony and rich polyphony only mean the degree of difficulty in chorus singing. They are not the mere criteria for ″authentic choral music″. Contemporary Chinese choral music originated from Western classic choral music. In my opinion, this is only a paradigm of chorus, which can be called ″Western choral paradigm″.
