摘　　要：《人民画报》创刊于1950年7月,对外称《中国画报》,目前隶属国务院新闻办公室、中国外文出版发行事业局。在1949年之后的中国新闻史上,《人民画报》是迄今为止从未间断出版的四种刊物之一。本文从史料出发,着重分析了《人民画报》作为媒介机构的特点和画报的媒介形态的特点,认为虽然在1950至1966年期间中国的政治环境出现了多次变动,但《人民画报》形成了独特的办刊观念并相对于政治环境的不断变动而保持了难得的稳定性,其核心的办刊观念体现在力图融合政治性与艺术性上。Launched in July 1950 and designed as a vehicle for presenting attractive photographs alongside informative and interesting articles, China Pictorial is one of four publications which was continuously published even during the period of Culture Revolution. Based on historical materials, this paper analyzes the characteristics of China Pictorial as media organization and as medium. It finds that although faced with political changes from 1950 to 1966, China Pictorial kept its stability thanks to its publication concept which focused on the integration of political nature and artistry.
