摘　　要：中世纪社会形成一种特有的二元结构,即代表王权的国家和代表神权的教会同时并存,它们之间的权力争夺深深影响到整个中世纪的社会发展形态。始于16世纪的英国宗教改革,彻底变革了英国社会的统治权力格局:世俗政府首脑国王成为英国世俗权力和宗教权力的最高掌控者。宗教改革对英国大学与世俗政府关系状态产生了深刻影响。The medieval society formed a special dual structure,namely the church represent the crown states and theocratic coexisting at the same time,the power struggle between them deeply affect the whole medieval form of the social development.The British religious reform that started in sixteenth Century had complete changed ruling power structure of British society： the King of mundane head of government became the supreme master of British secular and religious authority.Religious reform had produced profound effect on the relations of British university and secular government.
