摘  要:大地形的三维可视化直接影响虚拟战场的真实感、沉浸感、交互性及作战仿真任务的覆盖率。针对虚拟战场大地形可视化的特点,着重于大规模真实地形实时可视化技术的研究与实现,并以我国西北部某地区的DEM(数字高程模型)数据及其卫星照片作为原始数据,通过设置多层LOD和采用虚拟纹理、网格简化及地形分块技术,采用三维建模软件CTS(Creator Terrain studio)生成了一块400X400km2的大地形,满足了作战仿真对三维虚拟战场的需求。Large terrain three-dimensional visualization immediacy impacts third dimension immersion and of virtual battlefield and cover area of warfare simulation mission. Aiming at the characteristic of virtual battlefield large terrain visualization, emphasizing the study large area terrain visualization technic, and taking Digital Elevation Model and satellite photograph of northwest area of China as source data, using multilayer LOD and Virtual Texture, predigest grid and terrain division technic, and using three-dimensional modeling software Creator Terrain studio, a block of large terrain of area about 400× 400km2 was made, which fulfilled the demand of three-dimensional virtual battlefield of warfare simulation.
