摘　　要：王金玉是颇有功力的档案史学家,他一生孜孜不倦,专心研读古籍,深入挖掘史料,不仅为中国档案史纠偏,还提出了许多新的见解,开创了档案断代史研究的先河,丰富了中国档案史的研究成果。王金玉所著的《宋代档案管理研究》一书,首开我国档案史朝代专史研究的先河,其中对"千丈架阁法"错讹的纠正以及对古代档案机构、档案官员和档案思想等的详细考证,均有力地推动了中国档案史研究的发展。Wang Jinyu was a competent archival historian. He worked diligently and tirelessly throughtout his life, and concentrated on studying ancient books and dug into historical materials. He not only correct- ed errors for the history of Chinese archives, but also put forward many new ideas. He initiated a prece- dent for archival dynastic history research, and enriched research findings of the history of Chinese archives. His The Research on Archives Management in Song Dynasty is the first book to study archives dynasties history. In this book, it corrected the mistake of the ＂Qianzhang Rack Cabinet Method＂ and made detailed investigation of ancient archival institutions, archives officials and the thinking of archives. And all of which has developed the study of Chinese archives history.
