摘 要:利用高锰酸钾(KMnO_4)对纳米碳管(CNT)的纯化反应,制备出了CNT负载的锰氧化物复合材料MnO_χ/CNT.采用XRD和SEM分析发现,CNT表面被一种birnessite型层状锰氧化物均匀地包覆.循环伏安实验结果表明,MnO_χ/CNT对碱性溶液中氧还原反应具有比CNT更高的电催化活性,能够在O_2二电子还原为HO_2^-的电位下实现其彻底还原,生成OH^-.从而表明该种复合材料在燃料电池、金属/空气电池等领域具有十分良好的应用前景.Carbon nanotube (CNT) supported manganese oxides (MnOx/CNT) were prepared during the purification of raw CNTs by KMnO4 oxidation. The phase compositions and morphology of MnOx/CNT were characterized by XRD and SEM. It is found that the surface of CNT is homogeneously covered by a birnessite type layered manganese oxides. The cyclic voltammetric experiments show that MnOx/CNT have much better electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction in alkaline solution than CNT. Oxygen can be completely reduced to OH at the reduction potential of O2 to HOx The preliminary results illustrate the potential application of MnOx/CNT in the field of fuel cells and metal/air batteries.
