摘　　要：转型与升级在我国已成为具有普遍性的高校发展战略。在当前的高校分类与评估体系中,很多高校走上了通过科研"大跃进"实现学校转型的"歧途"。在现代大学制度视野内,高校的转型发展应该是高校在制度改善基础上的整体提升,而大学自治、学术自由、民主治校等现代大学制度的基本原则正是当前我国高校转型发展中亟须回归的基本原则。Developing by and for transformation and upgrading has become a universal strategy of Chinese colleges and universities.In the current assessment and classification systems of colleges and universities,lots of colleges adopted the strategy that concentrated radically all the resources into academic studies,which is a＂wrong track＂.In the perspectives of the modern university system,transformation of colleges should be overall promotion based on the systematic improvement.The basic principles of modern university system,namely ,the university autonomy, academic freedom and democratic governance, should be respected in current reforms and development of Chinese higher education.
