摘　　要：本文主要对英国前工业社会的劳工立法做了较为详细的研究和考察,对其主要特征进行了概括与总结,认为这一时期的劳工立法的本质是家长主义,其目的是维护土地阶级的利益以及社会的稳定。This article discusses the evolution of British labour law during the pre-industrial England.In author＇s opinion, before the Industrial Revolution, the state took an active attitude in the interference, which can be found in the related laws. Those laws regulated the wages, working time, employment, the labor flow, the settlement of industrial disputes and so on. This kind of interference is based on paternalism and the aim of which is to keep the benefit of landed class and the society steady.
