In order to explore the function of the body and heart regulation, the research adopts three experiments,by analyzing the brain waves change and state anxiety characteristics before and after the practice of Taijiquan(body regulation),Taijiquan respiration regulation(breath regulation) and Taijiquan selfrelaxation regulation(heart regulation),to prove the body and mind regulation function of Taijiquan. The first experiment shows that the α1 and α2 rhythm ratio of the skilled Taijiquan practicer is significantly higher than that of the Taijiquan beginners and the state anxiety of the former is decreasing continuously. The second experiment shows that the brain waves before and after the Taijiquan respiration are at the advantageous state of α2.The third experiment shows that after the meditation regulated relaxation of Taijiquan, the α2 rhythm content ratio of the parietal lobe and occipital lobe is significantly higher than that before relaxation and the EEG value decreases significantly. Each of the three experiments show that after the body and mind regulation of Taijiquan, the state anxiety decreases and α2 rythnm brain waves are at advantageous state, which prove the body and mind regulation function of Taijiquan from brain waves study.
