摘　　要：利用1999—2007年的中国工业企业统计数据,从微观层面分析知识产权保护对中国制造业企业研发投入的影响效应及其作用机理的研究发现,随着知识产权保护力度的增强,由于模仿成本显著提高、创新收益逐步降低等原因,我国知识产权保护与企业R&D投入之间呈现倒U型关系;面对不断提高的知识产权保护水平,国有企业和民营企业的研发行为出现截然相反的变化,国有企业倾向于对研发增加投入,而民营企业则倾向于减少研发投入。同时,知识产权保护力度增强会使本土企业利润下降,而外资企业的利润却因此增加。知识产权保护强化的结果是使得竞争力强的本土企业获得更高利润,因此,提高自身核心竞争能力是中国本土企业应对知识产权保护强化进而提升发展能力的主要途径之一。This article analyzes the influence of intellectual property right on Chinese manufacturing enterprises and its action mechanism from the micro perspective, which is based on the statistics in Chinese industrial enterprises database ranging from 1999 to 2007. From the investment strength in enterprises＇ research and development, as the protection of intellectual property right strengthening, the cost of enterprises is likely to increase while the creative revenue will, on the contrary, decrease. As a result, the relationship between the protection of intellectual property right and enterprises R＆D investment appears to be reverted U shaped. Faced with the higher and higher higher level of the pro- tection of intellectual property right, dramatic opposite changes occur in the R＆D investment of state- owned enterprises and private enterprises. The former tends to invest more while the latter is inclined to reduce its investment. The local enterprises＇ profits are reduced and those of foreign invested enter- prises grow in the process of the protection of intellectual property right. The intensification of protec- ting intellectual property right makes it possible for the more competitive local enterprises acquire more profits. Therefore, to cultivate self core competeneies is the main road for Chinese local enterprises to response to the intensification of protecting intellectual property right and further improve their capaci- ties to tackle it.
