摘  要:‘粤红1号’辣椒是以优良自交系1780为母本,以新加坡引进的优质红辣椒W405为父本杂交而成的鲜食红辣椒一代杂交种。该品种中迟熟,青熟果绿色,羊角形,无棱沟,果长17.7 cm,宽2.0 cm,果肉厚0.3 cm,单果重30 g,红熟果大红色,鲜艳有光泽,果面光滑,果条直,硬度好,耐贮运,辣味浓,品质佳,适宜我国南方地区种植。A new hybrid variety of red pepper with fresh fruit, Yuehong 1, was bred by crossing between 1780, a good inbred line as the female parent and W405, a hot pepper source with good quality induced from Singapore as the male parent. It is a mid-early maturing variety. The young maturing fruit was green and in the shape of a sheep horn, and was 17.7 cm in length, 2.0 cm in diameter, 0.3 cm in thickness with single fruit weigh 30 grams. When totally matured, the fruit turn brilliantly red and with a shinny, smooth surface. The fruit was straight with moderate hot taste. It had excellent hardness and quaility and good for storage and transportation. Yuehong 1 is suitable for planting in south China.
