摘　　要：失眠症是一种常见病症,且发病率不断升高,严重影响人们的正常生活和工作。研究失眠症的流行病学文献资料、治疗失眠症药物情况及中西的治疗现状、存在的问题等相关文献资料发现,目前的药物治疗西医方面以苯二氮类和非苯二氮类催眠药物为主治疗,鉴于这些药物易引起依赖性和撤药综合征,中医药治疗有强大的优势。所以,开发治疗失眠症的中药新药具有重要意义。Insomnia is a common disease with its morbidity increasing and serious effect on human＇ s normal life and work. With the analysis on epidemiological literature of insomnia as well as the current situation and existing problem on drug usage between traditional Chinese and western treatment status on insomnia cure, hypnotics of benzodiazepine and non-benzodiazepine are mainly used in western medicine treatment. In view of easy caused dependence and withdrawal syndrome of western medicine treatment, traditional Chinese medicine treatment has a powerful advantage. Therefore, development of new Chinese herbal medicine on treatment of insomnia has a great significance.
