摘　　要：盖里森深入分析了20世纪粒子物理学中实验室的物质文化和工具表征图像的视觉文化;通过批判实证主义、反实证主义以及科学知识社会学所描绘的科学图景,给出了理论、实验与工具三种亚文化互嵌的粒子物理学文化图景。盖里森没有以牺牲理论与实验的重要性为前提,真正赋予工具、理论与实验以自治的地位与生命。Peter Galison analysed the material culture of the laboratory and the visual culture of the instrumentation representation image about twentieth-century microphysics. And Galison criticized scientific picture of positivism, anti-positivism and sociology of scientific knowledge and given the intercalated picture of three subcultures （theories, experiments and instruments） of particle physics. Not at the expense of the impor- tance of theory and experiment, Galison gave instruments, theories and experiments autonomous status and lives.
